[Me] "Okay... I'm calling to see if you have an item in stock, is that something you can help me with?"

I tried calling to see if they had an item in stock. This is how it went:
[Female Employee] "I'll transfer you to someone that will help."
Needless to say, I had to repeat myself and the item may, or may not be, in in stock.
